New crucial information is to be brought to the file portable telephones.  As it was already discussed on August 14 with like title " values of electromagnetic radiation " and on August 7  in " I persist in saying it ",

it appears increasingly obvious that clear and concise information aiming at informing the public on the intrinsic harmfulness of the portable telephones is seriously lacking or is, as well as possible, completely skewed. It is well retention of information aiming at occulting the set of themes of

   electromagnetic   pollution  

The following facts are to be considered with the greatest attention. Then let us proceed by stages in order not to lose itself in linguistic convolutions:

A)  Seek scientific carried out with models of portable telephones and mannequins.

  A very interesting scientific article studied the positioning of the portable telephones  report/ratio to mannequins, in order to determine the optimal anatomical shape of the apparatuses compared to the head of the user. In this article , we learn thus how the portable telephone can be modelled:

In addition, it is shown in this article how ergonomics can be formalized easily, by studying various plans around the head:

This article is, like one says, "of beautiful works". One can find there formulas mathematical and a page of references scientific in supplement.
It is on the other hand useless to seek values of emission of the portable telephones given in micro Tesla in this article, because there is not.

Lastly, they are always the same "sponsors" who finance part of this scientific research, and it is legitimate to wonder what could occur between the authors from the study and these "sponsors" in the event of conflicts from interest:

But like one says in the jargon, research " advances ".

  B)  One can measure the electromagnetic fields as an autodidact , with a commercial apparatus.

  It was already made mention in this blog of the " Elektrosmoggerät ", in other words, of the Tesla Monitor allowing the measurement of the electromagnetic fields.    It is a model from Conrad Electronique, number B/N 128864, with the following features:

Thus, we see that the apparatus measures especially a band-width of 16 Hz (Herz) to 70000 Hz (70 Khz).
Any electromagnetic radiation emitted by an unspecified apparatus in this range of values will be thus easily measurable with the Tesla Monitor.


C) electromagnetic field is not equivalent electric field.

    A distinction is made between the electromagnetic and electric fields. The GSM belongs to the zone of frequency of the microwaves:

  D)  Values of immission: limits.

       The Swiss federal Office of the environment, the forests and the landscape  published an ordinance aiming at limiting the values of immission of the individuals in the electromagnetic fields:

      In our case, in fact the values in micro Tesla interest us. Within sight of this table above, we note that one should not remain in an environment of more than 6 micro Tesla with 1 Khz, or not more than 1 micro Tesla with 1 MHz, for example.


   We arrive now at the "pièce de résistance" of this mini-file...:


E) Values of the electromagnetic emission of the portable telephones.

        These values could be found after a hard research on Internet and were presented on August 14 in this blog:

   According to this study, the portable telephones emit an electromagnetic field from 4,7 to 74,8 micro Tesla, according to the model on the one hand and according to the place where the probe of measurement around the telephone is put, on the other hand.


F)    According to official recommendations' of immission on the one hand, and according to official    values'     of electromagnetic emission, the portable telephones emit too high values of electromagnetic fields:   

     To show it, it is very simple: one mentions the graph of the values of immission above, and one registers the electromagnetic field emitted by the apparatus, namely 900 MHz or 1800 MHz:

     We immediately note that to 900 MHz and 1800 MHz, should not exceed the value to us of 200 nano Tesla , in other words 0,2 micro Tesla      

       Portable telephones, as it is thus presented above, emit well officially from 4,7 to 74,8 micro Tesla (red arrow). Thus these apparatuses emit well with the top of the standards recommended, in Switzerland in any case, in case 900 MHz and 1800 MHz.

     It would still be necessary to determine if the apparatuses emit electromagnetic fields of frequency lower than 900 MHz. Business to be followed...            


   G) the values of the electromagnetic fields emitted by the portable telephones and measured as an autodidact confirm the assertion above:

     It is also enough to defer the band-width of 16 Hz to 70000 Hz (70 Khz) on this graph, and the turn is played:

We note that 400 should not be exceeded micro Tesla to 16 Hz, and 6 micro Tesla with 70 Khz.

The apparatus "Elektrosmoggerät" thus measures values of emissions electromagnetic of the portable telephones which briskly reach 8000 even 9000 micro T esl has (see here ). And since this apparatus functions between 16 Hz and 70 Khz, we note easily that the values of electromagnetic emission are well with the top of the standards recommended (red arrow).

  In conclusion: if after readhaving read it, you are deaf with the obvious considerations described above, it is that it is likely y to have already a problem...  

  If it is still not enough, you should then IMPERATIVELY print the document of the European Parliament concerning the physiological and environmental effects of the nonionizing electromagnetic radiations, published in March 2001: pdf here .  And to read it ATTENTIVELY...
